Time-Lost Proto-drake in my dreams
You know you play WOW too much when it invades your dreams.
I dreamed last night that my stupid level 61 Death Knight somehow found and killed the Time-Lost Proto-drake instead of my Holy Paladin main. In my dream, it was a mistake… I was somehow logged on to the wrong character. I even tried to put in a ticket to get it transfered over to my main. It would figure that the only way I can get the TLPD is on the wrong character.
I’ve been searching for that drake for months. I’ve killed Vyragosa twice and Dirkee once and have seen their corpses a couple times too, but I’ve never seen the corpse of the TLPD, let alone the actual drake. I fly up there through Storm Peaks as my long detour every time I do the Argent Tournament quests, hoping to get lucky. The good thing is, it nets me a ton of herbs even if I never see the drake.
I’ve also had really bad luck getting the proto-drake from the Oracles. I’ve opened that Mysterious Egg almost every week since January and still haven’t gotten my Green Proto-drake. I’ve made a ton of money selling those pets though. Lastly, I’ve been doing the Crocolisks in the City quest for like a year and I’ve only gotten one crocolisk ever and that was just last week. Luckily, I got the good one (the Chuck Norris of crocolisks).
There’s no question, the random number generator is very random. I got my fishing achievements all done relatively quickly, so my luck isn’t always bad. I can’t wait for the day when I see that Time-Lost Drake flapping around and make him my own. It will be awesome.
a friend of mine didnt even know whats going on when he killed some drake while questing and it dropped a mount. It was the first time he went there to get the ulduar flightpath
When he leveled his twink and entered Stormpeaks the first time guess what he saw flying there…

I’ve never seen the tl drake but the green one hatched from the third egg.
The Oracle egg pets still sell on your server? I can’t sell them whatsoever any more so I just tend to give them to the random guildmate that says they want it first.
On subject, I just don’t have the patience to look or take routes to find the Time-Lost Proto-Drake. I’m NEVER that lucky (although I got the Sea Turtle fairly quickly)
I still wish the RNG would take into consideration what crocs you already had if one comes up. I’m still waiting on Snarly, but I’ve gotten repeats of the other 3 several times already.
Meanwhile, my poor husband can’t even get ONE croc.
I dream about healing in my sleep, so much so that I am burning out and taking a break! it’s like no matter how much healing I do I still lose people left and right and I can’t hit the keys fast enough or something - sad I know. it may make me a better healer in my waking hours because I am so keyed up but I am pretty burned out.
I’ve never seen the TLPD but I got the green proto on my second egg (annoying a lot of guildies who have been trying for aaaaages) then I got it again on my 5th! and there is nothing I can do with it! really pissed off a lot of people there, I just want to get the pets! I still don’t have my crocs either - but I did get the 2 ring.

It took me a wile to work it all out but got them pretty easy once I had.Theres some usefull tips about it and should make camping for this great mount easier.
