mabye the reason you have difficulty with shamans is because your dispelling their shocks… (if ele) when you dispel their shock it gives them a short bloodlust and im not sure why on earth you would want them to have 30% over 800 damage ticks that are easily outhealable… and if your having trouble with enhance shammys then you dont know how to make the most of your abilitys.. enhancement shammys only pressure when their wolves are out and you can pop any cd and be fine the entire time the wolves are out and if your playing with a ret your partner should taunt them off you for a few seconds of relief shamans should be NO problem for a holy pally what-so-ever

until you get in s7-s8 gear you need to get as much res as possible, dont short your sp too much though.

you need to figure out if you want to be a crit healer (not the best option)

or haste (most common)

once you get into s7-s8 gear start gemming for some haste and up your sp a little bit.

I think the decursive is just preference to some people. I use it myself and have finally after using it for years, figured out how to set the premade macro that ‘comes with it’ to work properly. I have that macro bound to my 4 key and then I just use heal bot to hover over my partners or myself and just hit 4 to decurse. I haven’t had much success with healbot decursing, so maybe I just have it setup correctly? I spent all of BC clicking portraits and clicking my heal buttons (before I figured out that healbot was such easysauce and I went to using keybinds).

No seriously thank you very much for answering my questions. My suvivalhunter and I did need some time to… well, get to know each other again, so we started off really bad but we had time to practice and now we’re getting pretty good.

One more thing: Why use decursive? I know a lot of palas who do, but I find myself to be satisfied enough with HealBot since you can despell everything with it. What are the benefits of decursive?
