Gear you can get Today!

This is just a quick reminder post.  Now that Season 7 has started and you’ve begun to earn your arena points, make sure to pick up your new Season 7 gear.  There’s a number of pieces you could theoretically get today.  The arena rating requirements in Season 7 have been reduced significantly for most pieces.  You only need a 1350 Rating to be full Furious and you’ll also have some Relentless gear in there too with that rating.  In fact, you can start buying your Furious libram and set pieces at only a 700 Rating!  In many cases, the only thing keeping you from your gear is your grind for honor.  You can even get all of your Furious off-set pieces today if you spend enough time in the battlegrounds.  You can view the full list of available Season 7 PvP gear and their requirements in my previous post, but here is a quick summary of gear you should get ASAP that require no arena rating:

Gear with no Arena Rating Requirement (just grind honor)

• Deadly gloves, shoulders, legs, chest, and head.
• Furious wrist, cloak, neck, ring, feet, and belt

The biggest challenge for getting the new gear will be waiting each week for your arena points.  Even though the arena rating requirement has lowered, the amount of arena points required has not.  However, there are some very nice off-set pieces of Relentless gear that you can get that require no arena points at all.  If you can grind the arenas and do well enough, as well as the battlegrounds for the honor, you could get all these Relentless pieces today:

Gear with no Arena Points Cost (just grind rating… and honor)

• Relentless Wrist - 1200 Rating
• Relentless Belt - 1250 Rating
• Relentless Boots - 1300 Rating
• Relentless Neck - 1450 Rating
• Relentless Trinket - 1650 Rating
• Relentless Cloak - 1750 Rating

You’ll have to wait each week to earn your arena points to get the Furious and Relentless set pieces, but you could be well on your way to a full Relentless set today and all you have to do is grind, grind, grind.  The earlier you can get that PvP gear, the better you will do.  Remember that your opponents are gearing up each week at the same time you are, so whoever gears up sooner has that much more edge.
