how would you make a macros that would heal tank and then group.

In my time healing, I’ve come up with some other ways to save time and make things a little easier. One thing I always hated was hunting down my tank so that I could refresh beacon. So, I made a simple macro that lets me do it with the push of a button, leaving me free to heal my little pally butt off:
/tar name
/cast Beacon of Light

Obviously, replace [name] with whoever your assigned tank is, and you’re good to go! I have this hot-keyed to my F1 button.

Another good one I use helps me get the most out of the benefits from the Lightsworn gear:
/cast Avenging Wrath
/cast Divine Illumination
/cast Divine Plea

This is great for getting mana back without cutting my heals down by much.

I hope these help someone else out there as much as they help me! =D

I am a complete noob when it comes to macros. My questions are, is the #showtooltip blahblahblah a necessary part of the macro? Also, are your /counsle Sound_….. lines in your macros necessary?

I’ve come across a nice little combo, that is, in a sense, combining 2 main macro’s for a holy paladin, both the essential Sacred Shield and Beacon of Light.

/castsequence [target=focus] Sacred Shield, Beacon of Light

Instead of macro’ing 2, ive combined, and keymapped which aids you to buff the tank(focus) with the simple click of 2 buttons

Honestly i don’t get why you guys all use

/console Sound_EnableSFX 0
….
/console Sound_EnableSFX 1

This will result in.
If you turn off your sounds on purpose. every time you use that macro you will have to disable your sounds again.
how about simply turning them off in options.

i just wanna throw this out there. your judgement of light macro(which is very useful,) will go onto grid and healbot I’m assuming. The tweaked macro looks like this:

Judgement Macro
/cast [harm] [target=hbtargettarget] Judgement of Light

or for grid users

Judgement Macro
/cast [harm] [target=mouseovertarget] Judgement of Light

this has worked well for me for a very long time

Hi, i tried your macro with HL
I have a problem with Divine Illumination. It doesnt work. Trinket is used healing is casted but divine illumination not. I dont know where is the problem. I’ve tried even remove trinket use from makro but still Divine Illumination doesnt work. I hope you can help me
