well i read all the post people that arg bout the haste cap
i would say it just depend on gear ur using
haste critt gear are the harder to get since lot dps rolling on that
so just try n get most haste/crit piece like if you have some mp5 piece you shouldnt gem intel u do need sp the intel bonus (critt,regen) would only help if your oom just get more sp so your FOL is more effecien other than that stack the haste so your heal is completed faster on player than every other healler being the faster make you get the #1 rank
also using a +spell trinquet or gem only help the fol on like 80% of case since your 20k HOL probly overheal everytarget
+ a good pally will be using all the 3 spel holy shock flash then holy lite so depending on how you like to play you should choose betwin higher haste possible sp useless it will only be eff on overheal n hight critt by using hastecritt gear + all int gem with a 10 all stats to get meta gem bonus basicly holy lite the tank holy shock a raid member then instan flash then you go back on tank you can keep up 3 target on eatch cd /// if you go flash pally stack the mp5 critt spell power
this is more common for a 1 key healler (newb)lol

=o im scared i only have 366 haste rating and 425 mp5 i keep reading posts saying in high end gear you cant avoid the soft haste cap yet i have awesomely high gear nothing below ilvl 245 36k mana selfbuffed and 3k spellpower am i crap? plz help me

It is obvious this article is old. Im running currently with 1037 haste that it comes just from gear, 39469 mana, 3214 SP, focused on int gems, and my mana regen is only 61 while casting. I never go oom, not even if Im spamming. I run ICC 25 HM, and with all the buff from all the rest of the people you get is really outrageously hard to go oom. And if you have a moonkin in your party, there are fights where you might say “well some mana more would come handy” and they can give you their innervate, afterall, moonkins dont run oom (not even without dreamstate and intensity, which some are not even talenting them anymore).
I have another whole set just dedicate to mp5, with the bunch of mp5 that it comes from it and gemmed properly for longevity. But honestly, I hardly have seen its use, overall since the 30% buff you get in ICC which has made everything more of a joke.
Is true that my fol sometimes is under 1 sec. But I dont care as long as I dont have to depend on grace for casting my holy light, I always hate that first cast on holy light.

I also disagree with the the stated haste limit. I’m at 717 unbuffed (still working for more) and self bufffed with JotP and Light’s Grace I’m at 1.4s HL cast. I focus on int, haste, and mp5 and don’t bother with crit. Am only at 29.xx% crit and never have problems healing or with mana unless I feel like screwing around in VoA to top the charts by raid healing with HL.

For raids I like to use Elixir of Might Thoughts for 45 int, Guru’s Elixir for +20 stats, and Imperial Manta Steak for 40 haste. When Heroism is popped my HL is at a 1s cast and .8 for FoL, absolutely love it.

Haste does NOT make you run out of mana faster unless you’re just spamming which is dumb in most cases. Haste allows you to conserve mana by having very fast HL’s to use them when needed (in certain situations I will cast a pointless HL just to keep my Light’s Grace up and use FoL for the small damage). On certain fights I will have to spam HL but once everything settles I’m back to using it when needed and using FoL when needed. This conserves mana, keeps the tanks up, and gives you quick HL’s for when the tanks take big damage.

The next big thing I do is use Seal of Wisdom to its fullest. When its safe to be up with the melee I’ll melee as well as use SoL and Shield of Righteousness for three chances to restore mana each time, so to speak. This allows me to nearly spam HL the whole fight and not drop below 80% mana or so. Just watch your threat when you do that. Was messing around with it on Kora VoA25. He got pissed that I was HL raid healing while keeping up my mana and nailed me. We had too many healers so that’s why I was doing that, just wanted to mess with the charts a bit lol.
