Blizzard Quote - Paladins Can’t Heal

Haha, I found this funny.  It comes straight from Blizzard’s official website:

Get a Healer
“It’s difficult to play in dungeons without a healer. Preferably, you want to bring at least one Priest for healing and resurrection in a single role. Priests find themselves constantly private messaged for groups because their healing abilities are in high demand. If a priest is not available, you can use Druids and Shaman, or even Paladins. While a Paladin can heal, you typically don’t want to rely on that for healing for your entire group.”

It looks like it was probably written around the same time Burning Crusade came out.  Either way, they seriously need to update their “dungeon tips” page.  The page also uses a lot of odd terminology, like “wipe-out” and “raid party”.  Their other pages seriously need updating as well.  They still have tips for using Seal of the Crusader and Blessing of Salvation.  =-0

  1. HaHa that funny!

  2. Apparently, in my guild, we do everything wrong. Even though I have run with a Shaman, Druid, and even a Priest I have pretty much always been the healer. And instead of using a Warrior as a Tank, we make the mistake of trying to get by with a Death Knight.

I think an update of some sort is definitely needed.

  3. Perhaps they were anticipating our skill level instead of what the class can do? ;)

  4. Haha they ninja fixed it.

  5. Wow, you’re right! Coincidence that’s its been up for 2 years and they fix it 3 days after this post?? =-O

  6. So I guess it wasn’t two of us Paladins healing through Kologarn’s oblivion 2 nights ago…

  7. Awesome site. I agree with everything except that I don’t think fixed gear bikes are all that scary really. A little patience and anyone can get tha hang of it.
