Best In Slot (BiS) Holy Paladin Gear (Holy Light focus)
Best in Slot lists are something you’ll notice that I have never included on this site. The main reason for this is because I don’t believe there is always one best in slot for everyone for every encounter, every group, and every playstyle. Also, it takes a lot of work to keep up to date and only the most hardcore players will complete it anyway. There are also quite a few other resources with this information.
David Lohmeyer has one such resource. He’s done a great job doing everything I listed above on his site: http://bis.vilepickle.com/. He even lists alternate items for each slot with commentary in the navigation on the left if you can’t seem to get that one best in slot item. His BiS list is definitely focused on those Holy Paladins looking to maximize their Holy Light use while retaining as much mana as possible. He also assumes that you don’t want to go over the 675 Haste cap, which is probably true in most cases. Although Holy Light casts can still be shortened quite a bit after that point, your global cooldown is capped at 1 second, so you won’t get any reduction there.
His list is a great one if you’re looking for the same things he is in your gear. He has a great list up now and it sounds like it will be updated soon and often to include the Patch 3.3 gear (you can see his work in progress for Patch 3.3 here). Make sure to check back frequently!

Why only use one piece of tier10?
I am in the same line of thought as Kork on this one.. can someone explain why there is only one piece of tier ten? Why not utilize at least the 2 set bonus? Answers would be much appreciated. Love from Gul’dan

Atm, Im Not using any mp5 on my gear, stacking int, crit, haste priortised in taht order. Not geming for anything but INT, accumulate crit and haste on the gear.
Most likely going to use 3 peices of t-10^ helm,chest,shoulders, use the legs off of LM Hicc 10. same with the other peices of gear.
Also wanting to know the same as Kork but too lazy to look on David’s blog.
What’s with the lack of 2 set t10? I’m under the impression that it’s pretty OP. Everything else I completely agree with. There does seem to be a bit more haste than I was counting on as well…and why solace with ToR? I have it stacked with Purified Lunar dust for maximized mana regen and constant sp rather than a burts on use.
